PACKAGING DESIGN: RITUAL APOTHECARY
Packaging design and an icon set for Ritual Apothecary's house brand, The Willow's Bark. Ritual is a retail store in Peterborough, Ontario.
WEBSITE DESIGN: EARL'S SIGNATURE SAUCES
A Brand new website design using Earl's Signature Sauces's existing branding. A growing business with roots at Halifax's Seaport Farmer's Market, Earl's Signature Sauces needed an online store to expand their client base. Their sauces are now available all over Eastern Canada at Atlantic Superstore.
BOOK COVER DESIGN
The themes in this book made for a particularly challenging design process and a fun experiment in combining bold typographic elements. The completed design captures the essence of the novel, and invites potential readers to reach for it on a bookstore shelf or click "add to cart" when browsing online. In addition to designing the book cover, I also designed several pieces of marketing collateral including a bookmark and banner stand.
BRANDING & DESIGN: KERRY JAYNE
Canadian singer-songwriter Kerry Jayne came to me with an ambitious plan to overhaul her website and relaunch it with a new logo. She wanted an update that would really help her shine in the digital space and establish a strong cohesive brand as she launched her second album. She also needed a design for the new album, as well as marketing materials to help her promote it both digitally and in print. Taking inspiration from vintage floral wallpapers and the beautiful earthy tones of the natural environment in Ontario, we worked together to create her a delicate, but clean design that captures the intimate and dreamy quality of her music.
BRANDING & WEBSITE: THE WILL TO HEAL PROJECT
The creators of The Will to Heal Project needed a standout logo and website to represent the many facets of their unique project. Though their business has a broad scope, it centres around personal change, and the power that each individual has to heal themselves. The finished logo captures the essence of the brand by leaning into the human element with a stylized profile. The swirl element can be used separately to provide graphic interest on their website, business cards and other marketing materials. The final colour scheme is versatile, calming and inspiring, and works in conjunction with the logo to provide a strong brand identity.
